Explaining Provincials!

Hey Everyone!

I had a few of my kitty friends asking me what a Provincial was, so I thought I'd get Sarah to explain! (seeing as most of you are American, and don't have them- your humans are LUCKY people!!)
This will help you see why Sarah was so busy, too!
Sarah:
Hey everyone!
Provincials are big tests you take for certain subjects at the end of the year or semester, depending on what your school is like (most are semestered, though). You have to take:
Grade 10: English, Science, Math
Grade 11: Socials
Grade 12: English
They're all REALLY huge, and count for 20% of your mark, except for the English 12 one, which counts for 40%. Oh, how I envy my American friends!!
Dinah:
Wow, that sounds CATastrophically hard!! I didn't even understand most of what she typed, but your humans should!
Anyways, just thought I'd drop you a note to explain! Sarah's best friend is here from out of town for almost a week so I might only have time for Twitter. I LOVE her though!!

I'm Still Alive!!

Hey everyone!!

Just a quick post to let you know I'm still alive!! My human, Sarah, has been SUPER busy with her theatre group, but now that's over. I was watching her as she logged for Drama today, and just from last week, she logged 47 hours!! And that doesn't include the time in between shows! So as you could imagine, I was a pretty neglected kitty for a while. But every time they came home, I cried until they picked me up and cuddled me. So then I was happy. :)
Anyways, Sarah is cutting my creative flow off because she has to do her homework... I'm glad I'm a cat!

Tolerating Tuesday

Hey everyone!

Thanks again for readin' my blog! Wow, I have buddies as far as Malaysia and New Zealand now! And I love all you from the US and Canada too! :)

As you can see, I'm not a big fan of Sarah's camera and its bright flash. Especially when I'm sleeping! But, I'm tolerating her, you see- if I wasn't, all you'd see was my furry little paw! I'm sure that I'm far more likely to suffoCATe with her camera in my face than by sleeping in this pile of clothes! I guess I haven't trained her well enough yet.

But that is a job for another day! I feel a CATnap coming on.

Thaasophobic Thursday

Thaasophobia: The fear of being still/idle

I definitely don't have this phobia as I do like cuddling, but Sarah thought that word was appropriate to use since I do have "spazz attacks" (as my humans call it) where I run around like crazy, hissing and meowing. It's just fun to get energy out like that sometimes, who's with me?? Plus, it sounds good with the word "Thursday".

Hello! My name is Dinah. If you’re wondering what kind of cat I am, no one really knows. But I do know that I’m solid Grey with slightly darker Grey rings on my tail. I’m told frequently how pretty I am, but my humans don’t want my head to swell, whatever that’s supposed to mean. My head feels just fine thank-you! Anyways, I’m about 9 months old- I was born in June 2008, but no one knows the date, because my mum had me in the woods, and she didn’t think to check the calendar. Sheesh! We celebrate it on June 1st though.

If you see me, I am never without my pink rhinestone collar. Real rhinestones, of course. My humans tell me they're plastic, but I think they just don't want the other animals to feel bad. How kind of them!

I live with 4 humans in Canada whom I love and who love me very much. Although I'm very independent, I do enjoy my daily snuggles.


Dinah! There you are, you crazy feline! I need the computer now, scootch over pussy!


Sorry, that was Sarah, one of my humans. Hmm. She kind of ruined the moment. Anyways, she's bigger than me (though I'm smarter) so I better move.
